The Associate Creative Director – Copywriter works closely with the Creative team in producing a high-quality creative product for the agency’s clients and provides leadership to art directors and copywriters, along with the Creative Director.  They work closely with the other disciplines in delivering and exceeding client expectations.

The Associate Creative Director will be required to:

  • Develops creative and persuasive written content for various advertising and marketing materials.
  • Responsible for crafting compelling messages, headlines, slogans and scripts that effectively communicate the client’s brand, product or service to the target audience.
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams and guides the creative direction.
  • Develop and produce creative concepts through execution for a number of brands and/or services.
  • Consult with account group, media and strategic planning staff to gather information about a product or service to determine a style and visual expression for the advertising.
  • Work with writers/art directors on creative executions for all assigned accounts.
  • Present concepts to VP Creative Director for approval.
  • Present approved work to client representatives.
  • Supervise the selection of creative suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date on latest trends, talent and competitive work.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of the creative work assigned to the junior teams under his/her supervision.
  • Help to create and maintain morale among team members.
  • Any tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

Seven (7) years of experience as a copywriter, technical writer, or related position.  Also requires demonstrated experience in or knowledge of the following:

  • Hardware and software expertise including MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Print/web/TV production, functionality, and information architecture.
  • Version control.
  • Integrated advertising.
  • 7 years of experience copywriting for Hispanic audiences

Rate of Pay: from $121,826 to $125,000 per year.
