The Creative Director reports to the Executive Creative Director and is responsible for bringing sharp creative insights to our clients and foster enduring partnerships. This role drives the development and execution of creative strategies and ideation processes across multiple channels for assigned clients. Cross-functionally, this position also partners with in-house account teams, analytics experts, technologists, media strategists to create compelling campaigns and stories that help protect, promote and evolve our client's brands.

Responsibilities/Skills Needed

  • Maintains consistency over the quality and message of the creative team output.
  • Deliver clear creative direction and timely constructive feedback
  • Transforms rough ideas and general concepts into actions, projects, and completed products or messages.
  • Sets deadlines and maintains efficiency within the creative team.
    Coordinates with freelancers for timely delivery of goods
  • Weave tech platforms and environments into ideations sessions
  • Present ideas, campaigns and platforms to C-suite executives that move people to action
  • Develop, nurture, and sell creative ideas in both written and visual form
  • Actively collaborate with other disciplines across the agency
  • Partner with Planning and Strategy to develop integrated briefs
  • Ensure creative output aligns with agency vision and client objectives
  • Work cross-functionally, balancing multiple partners
  • Participate in select new business initiatives with both key existing and prospected businesses
  • Ensure consistency over the quality and message of the creative team’s output
  • Ability to develop presentations with account teams that address client’s strategy and tactical concerns
  • Manage and cultivate the career development of team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional guidance -- with an emphasis on growing a team of diverse creative talent.
  • Oversee staff planning, portfolio review and selection, performance management, career development, employee relations and related HR matters in accordance with Casanova’s policies and procedures
  • Active and ongoing participation in training, helping to instill a culture of professional development among staff


  • Must be familiar with a variety of branding and marketing strategies.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • 7+ year experience as a Creative Director
  • Must be able to multitask and manage a number of different projects at once
  • Must be able to translate ideas into action
  • Skill in managing a creative team: understanding individual capabilities and strengths; getting the best work out of individuals; being able to react quickly and decisively to challenges
  • Ability to structure creative assignments by assessing strategic needs and deploying creative team
  • Must be self-motivated and innovative
