The Project Manager works closely with the Account Management team to ensure project success, balancing the needs of both client and internal business objectives. The Project Manager must be a strong team leader with a motivating work ethic and analytical mindset, overseeing a comprehensive operations plan that includes: resource management, workflow/process improvement, cost management, and identify efficiencies.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that requires superior project partnership and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively under high-pressure situations. Agency experience managing complex, integrated and digital projects is a must.


Responsibilities/Skills Needed

  • Partner with team leads to define agency "best practices" and establish efficient workflow processes and timelines to ensure client satisfaction and highest quality of deliverables.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of projects from initiation through implementation and deployment.
  • Oversee and communicate project status and adjust resources and priorities accordingly.
  • Oversee client/account budgets through proper scope definition, risk management and change management protocols.
  • Oversee client/partner billing.
  • Understanding staffing and scoping requirements.
  • Owning the client project budget and working with the Account Director to manage costs and deliverables as well as staffing resources.
  • Owning project management/workflow system data entry and reporting.
  • Understanding & respecting every department’s role in delivering great work & building relationships.
  • Oversee the project team’s activities to guarantee overall quality of work and ensures the project is delivered on time and on budget.
  • Work in an independent fashion, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively in difficult situations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of agency core disciplines and capabilities, including Account Management, Finance, Strategy, Creative, Studio, User Experience, Interactive Design, Social Media, and Digital Technology.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, data management and related software (e.g. MS Excel, project leadership software, database applications, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to communicate effectively under high-pressure situations.
  • 3-5 years of project leadership or operations experience within agency environments.
  • 2-4 years managing large, multi-disciplinary teams of 15+ people.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in related field preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish experience preferred.
