Seeking a mid-level Strategic Planner, will consider part time/freelance. Work with clients in establishing and defining marketing and branding objectives for successful advertising campaigns. The Strategic Planner will articulate integrated consumer experience solutions in relation to business goals, consumer needs, and technologies.


Responsibilities/Skills Needed

  • Work with clients to determine objectives, target audience and end-results.
  • Work closely with account leadership, strategic planning, creative throughout the campaign development process.
  • Produce qualitative research expertise and/ or ethnography.
  • Analyze existing data, market reports and consumer trends and behaviors.
  • Determine campaign messaging; employing data analytic tools to track and optimize
  • Develop hypotheses and methods to test and apply to a wide variety of marketing challenges Oversee the strategy of client campaigns and projects, providing the creative team direction to ensure the marketing and creative work is on-strategy and on-brand.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of agency experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required; bicultural highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, MBA ideal.
  • Have a strong interest in marketing research, cultures and consumer trends.
  • Skilled at gathering, analyzing and interpreting qualitative data and results.
  • Able to synthesize information from various sources and extract key concepts and messages.
  • Experience leading brand platform definition and identity development engagements.
  • CPG experience preferred but not required
  • Highly analytical employing tools like Simmons and/ or other marketing tools.
  • Resourceful, conceptual, visual and with exceptional writing skills.
