Casanova//McCann is a full-service Hispanic Advertising Agency. As a Strategist, you’ll work with the team to deliver innovative solutions to grow our clients’ brands. You’ll start by acquiring a deep understanding of our customers, uncovering key insights that build strong brands, and our products and solutions.

Responsibilities/Skills Needed

  • Deep command of customer insights
  • Drive brand brief development to inspire great creative
  • Participate in annual tactical planning
  • Work with accounts to review & contribute to SOWs
  • Partners with senior staff on strategic efforts for 3-4 client engagements
  • Ability to own/direct internal meetings where appropriate
  • Attends and actively contributes to client meetings
  • Brings forth new ideas and shares opinions with teams
  • Continues to moderate meetings/workshops with increasing comfort
  • Drive positioning ideation to uncover strategic opportunities
  • Solution-oriented idea generation – identify challenges and work with the team to come up with innovative solutions to grow the brand
  • Deep understanding of the marketplace, competition, and product fit
  • Leverage learnings across brands
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams & clients


  • 2-3 years of experience in a strategy/market research role
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Critical thinking/problem solving
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal)
  • Excellent facilitation skills (moderating interviews, facilitating breakouts, running meetings/workshops)
  • Active listening (adapting presentation/interview/etc based on the discussion)
  • Storytelling (being able to consume a large amount of information, distill it, step back and see the bigger picture to tell a clear and compelling story)
  • A “think on your feet” mentality
  • Ability to multitask (working on multiple projects at the same time, being able to change direction quickly)
  • Foresight to ask the tough questions

This position is based in Costa Mesa, CA., hybrid work schedule, 2 days in office
